COPAKE LAKE DUCK WALK
Coordinator: Marian Sole 203-710-9096. Meet 9:00am at the intersection of County Route 7 and Lake View Road (Copake Lake). We will search for fall migrant waterfowl. An eared Grebe has been sighted on previous trips. We have several Club members that frequent Copake Lake in the Fall and should have updated information for the walk.

Coordinator: Marian Sole 203-710-9096. Join us for a Christmas Bird Count compilation. We compare sightings & stories while sharing pizza, coffee, and holiday cookie exchange. Tally will be from 12:00-2:00pm at the Kinderhook Memorial Library at 18 Hudson Street, Kinderhook NY. If attending, kindly let us know (call phone above or email us) to ensure we order enough pizza. We’ll order extra so don’t worry about being a late show.

MOHONK LAKE/ASHOKAN RESERVOIR (NYML) CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT
Centered in SUNY Ulster, the longest running CBC in Ulster County is as big a part of JBNHS history as anything the society is connected with. Maybe it’s your time to get involved, in the field or even as a feeder watcher. Contact NYML compiler Steve Chorvas (845-246-5900 or schorvas@gmail.com ) for possible assignment. A post count compilation will be held at the Hasbrouck Park stone building in Kingston.

ULSTER/DUTCHESS (NYUD) CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT
The NYUD is the “middle child” of Ulster-centered CBC’s and it’s hard to believe this will be the 15th count in ’25. Centered in Glasco, the NYUD circle is bisected by the Hudson River providing the best river coverage of any New York State circle. Contact NYUD co-compiler Mark DeDea (forsythnature@aol.com ) for possible assignment . A post count compilation will be held at the Hasbrouck Park stone building in Kingston.
